Learning Beyond the School Day

O'Quinn Schools offer opportunities for students to learn beyond the typical school day.  With options after school and during the summer, you can register your child for camps or supplements to expand their educational opportunities in a fun environment.

Register for Mt. Pleasant 

O'Quinn Schools uses CampBrain to assist us in registration.

Important Dates:

  • Online Registration opens: Monday, April 7th at 8am
  • Online Registration closes: Friday, April 17th at 6pm
  • Summer Camp Drop in Open House: Friday, June 6th from 2pm to 3pm
  • Summer Camp start date: June 9th, 2025
  • Summer Camp end date: August 1st, 2025

Summer Camp tuition is $450 per week, per child. Please register for each week that you would like to attend by adding the weeks into your cart. You will not be able to register for a supplement until you have registered for the week of camp that supplement is offered. Please note you will not be charged for SUMMER CAMP at the time of registration but you will be required to pay your full balance via credit card for the SUPPLEMENT CLASSES. The system does not guarantee your space in the summer camp week or supplement session without completing your registration and payment for the supplement. If you have signed up for summer supplement(s), please complete the DSS Form(s) that will be sent home with your child after camp registration ends. Please note if you are a new family to our 2025-2026 school year, reach out via email tdapolito@portergaud.edu for the DSS Form(s) after registering for your supplement(s) of choice.

Supplement Descriptions

Registration Key:

Please make sure to sign your child up for the age group they will be in attendance for during the 2025-2026 school year. ALL summer camp weeks run on a Monday - Friday EXTENDED HOUR BASIS. ALL students will be either 3K EH, 4K EH, 4K NAPPERS, 5K EH, and Rising 1st Grade. Even if your child will be an AM for the upcoming school year, register them as EH for the summer. If your 4K child will be napping (optional) during summer camp, register them as 4K NAPPER (please NOTE it is important to register 4K Nappers correctly because it could affect your child’s supplement registration status).

EH STUDENTS: Any 3K, 4K, 5K, OR Rising 1st Graders transitioning to Porter-Gaud attending our summer camp (Early drop off begins at 7am and pick up concludes by 6pm)

  • 3K EH Students: Any 3K student attending summer camp
  • 4K EH Students: Any 4K student who is NOT napping attending summer camp
  • 4K EH Napper: Any 4K student who is napping during summer camp
  • 5K EH Students: Any 5K student attending summer camp
  • Rising 1st Grade: Any rising 1st grade student transitioning to
  • Porter-Gaud attending O’Quinn summer camp

Week 1: June 9 - June 13

Theme: Pirates and Mermaids

Set sail for a summer filled with imagination, discovery, and high-seas fun at Pirates & Mermaids Summer Camp! Young adventurers will dive into a world of ocean magic, where daring pirates search for hidden treasure and mystical mermaids explore the wonders of the deep blue sea.

Week 2: June 16 - June 20

Theme: Safari

Get ready for a wild summer adventure at Safari Summer Camp! Campers will embark on an exciting journey through the animal kingdom, exploring the wonders of nature, wildlife, and exotic habitats. With hands-on activities, themed crafts, outdoor games, and exciting animal encounters, each day will be filled with fun and discovery.

Theme: SafariGet ready for a wild summer adventure at Safari Summer Camp! Through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and creative projects, campers will immerse themselves in the magic of Charleston!
