BUS SERVICE INFORMATION
Porter-Gaud parents residing East of the Cooper can sign their child(ren) up for bus service for the 2024-2025 school year. Ride It Out, LLC has been providing bus service to our athletics department for the last nine years, and they added daily bus service for Porter-Gaud students in the 2021-2022 school year.
Parents will enter into contracts directly with Ride It Out for bus service, and Ride It Out will offer two buses with two routing options (with a slightly later departure for the late start on Wednesdays) for a monthly fee.

O’QUINN MOUNT PLEASANT ROUTE:
Operates directly from O’Quinn Mount Pleasant to Porter-Gaud in the A.M. and from Porter-Gaud to O’Quinn Mount Pleasant in the P.M.
AM times:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:
The O’Quinn bus arrives at O'Quinn at 7:00 a.m. and departs at 7:10 sharp; arrives at Porter-Gaud around 7:40 a.m. (times approximate)
Wednesday:
The O'Quinn bus arrives to O'Quinn at 7:45 a.m. and departs at 7:55 a.m. sharp.
PM times: (Monday-Friday)
Departs Porter-Gaud around 3:25 p.m. and arrives at O'Quinn MP around 3:50-4:00 p.m. Lower School students will wait in the Dining Hall until they depart at 3:20 p.m. (times approximate)
DANIEL ISLAND AND COLEMAN BOULEVARD ROUTE:
Daniel Island Bus Departs Governor’s Park on Daniel Island, stops at Moultrie Plaza on Coleman Boulevard, and continues to Porter-Gaud in the A.M. Departs Porter-Gaud for Moultrie Plaza and then to Daniel Island Governor’s Park in the P.M.
AM times:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:
Bus arrives at Daniel Island at 6:50 a.m. and departs Daniel Island at 7:00 a.m. sharp. Bus continues to Moultrie Plaza and arrives at 7:15 a.m. Bus departs Moultrie Plaza at 7:20 a.m. sharp.
Wednesday:
Bus arrives at Daniel Island at 7:45 a.m. and departs at 7:50 sharp. The bus continues to Moultrie Plaza and arrives at 8:10 a.m., then departs Moultrie Plaza at 8:15 a.m. sharp.
PM times: (Monday-Friday)
Bus departs Porter-Gaud at 3:25 p.m., arrives at Moultrie Plaza by 3:45 p.m., then continues to Daniel Island and arrives between 4:15 and 4:20 p.m.
Please note that times are approximate and are based on traffic conditions. Students riding the bus will not be marked tardy if the bus arrives late due to traffic conditions.
